First up we’ve got a brilliant way to get children to eat spinach! Packed full with fruit and veggies, these Tropical Green Smoothie Lollies are perfect for a hot day!

Tropical Green Smoothie Lollies

  • blender (or hand-held blender & jug)
  • glass
  • lolly moulds (or clean, empty yogurt pots)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 glass of spinach
  • 1 glass frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 glass apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon oats


Peel the benana, break into chunks and put into a jug or blender.


Wash the spinach in a sieve or colander and shake to dry. Add the spinach to the jug.


Fill a glass with frozen pineapple and tip into the blender. Almost fill the same glass with apple juice and add to the blender. Add 1 tablespoon oats.


Blend until really smooth and pour into glasses to drink, or pour into 6 lolly moulds and freeze.
