Hi! I'm a student living in the US and I thought I'd share my recipe for Pomegranate tea with you to help keep you guys warm and healthy during the cold months.
Growing up in the Philippines, my family always drank Korean Traditional tea called Bo-Ri-Cha (보리차), at every meal which as a sweet-loving child I did not like. However, my dislike towards tea disappeared when my mother began making me this drink made with my favorite fruit, pomegranates. This sour and sweet flavour explosion is enjoyable for people of all ages and is my favorite tea to this day!

Equipment
  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 pestle
  • 1 glass jar
Ingredients
  • 3 cups of pomegranate seeds (from about 2 large pomegranates)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

1

Place the pomegranate seeds in a large bowl. Using the pestle, crush them until the seeds are in the juice.

2

Add the sugar, and mix it well. Put in the jar and refrigerate. When serving, fill the cup with about ¼ cup of the crushed pomegranate seed mixture and serve with hot water.
